A chic, urban-vibe hotel that opened in 2013. We love the huge lobby in this boutique hotel with its many comfy sofas and books and vintage board games. It’s also where they serve the free, extensive continental breakfast as well as coffee and tea all day.
There are limited views of the ocean from some rooms whose decor reflects the modern feel of the hotel. Even though the standard rooms are small, with no lanais, they make very good use of the space by including under-bed drawer storage. You can borrow towels, beach chairs and boogie boards for use at the Waikiki Beach Center, a couple minutes’ walk from the hotel.
Rooms are 220 sq. ft., suites with walk-in showers are 440 sq. ft. If you book direct, they waive the resort (amenity) fee.
