5425 Lower Honoapiilani Rd, Napili
Napili Village is under new ownership reopened in 2020 as Napili Village Hotel. We will be back to review them once the dust settles and COVID allows.
This intimate condo property is very clean and well run with small, comfortable rooms that could use some updating. They have studios with accordion doors separating the bed from the rest of the unit, or 1/1s of the same size that feel smaller to us. Many rooms can fit up to four people. There are no phones in the units. Bathrooms are tiny and most have showers only, but a few tubs are available. First-floor units are good for people with kids since some rooms are near the pool. Housekeeping service provided daily, except Wednesdays and Sundays. They have free coffee in the Ohana Room by the pool each morning and a continental breakfast once a week, sometimes with fruit from their trees. Napili Beach is close by, though you probably don’t want to pay the extra $5 for the ocean views, which are marginal. (But what the heck— it’s only $5, and if you’re really nice, they may waive it.) Though not directly on the beach, this place is a good deal, and the staff is nice here. Rooms (465 sq. ft.) are $169–$194. 2-night minimum. Discounts on longer stays.
