The only condominium resort on Maui that’s on a semi-private beach since public access to it isn’t very practical. The beach is very sandy and clear most of the time with good swimming when calm.
The resort has reasonably sized 1/1s downstairs and oddly laid out townhouse-style 2/2s on the second floor with lots of stairs. Oceanfront two-bedroom units (Buildings A & F) have an additional bath. Though the buildings aren’t overly attractive, the resort exudes a good feeling and is quiet for its size. The large lanais have no privacy, your next door neighbor can see you through the wide slats. Building F is our favorite with the beach two steps away from the ground floor units. There are a limited number of units with A/C and those may be on a 6-hour timer.
If you get an updated room, this resort is a Real Gem. 1/1s are 784 sq. ft., 2/2s (1,442 sq. ft. There is a large price spread that covers the view and quality of unit. 4- to 10-night minimum, depending on time of year.
