Even though the condos are individually owned, the rooms all have the same pleasant décor. Though the units are nice, the colors are feeling dated at this point. However, this is one of the better Aston properties, and the rooms are comfortably sized. Staff is excellent and very warm, and services are reasonably high. It’s also a great touch that the windows, even in the bedrooms, run floor to ceiling, making maximum use of whatever view the room has. End units facing Diamond Head have fantastic views, even on relatively low floors (though floors 25 and higher are still preferred).
The sun deck is a decent place to hang out with a bunch of BBQs and outdoor tables to enjoy your grilled meats. Plus, they have a free hospitality room by the pool for late checkouts with access to showers, TV and computers. It’s not a Real Gem or a Solid Gold Value, but it’s got some components of both. 1/1s are 515 sq. ft., 2/1s are 590 sq. ft., 2/2s are 1,200 sq. ft.
