Self-proclaimed as “Hawai‘i’s first craft hotel” (we’re not entirely sure what that means either), Waikiki Beachcomber is located in the heart of Waikiki next to the International Market Place, which makes venturing out particularly convenient. The rooms are clean with vibrant modern-Hawaii touches like ocean scenes behind the headboards. Although some rooms are small, most feel larger than the square footage listed.
Their view designations seem pretty fair compared to some of their competitors. The 10th floor and above have the best views. Connecting rooms available. Overall, if you get a good rate, you’ll probably be pretty happy.
They’re also home to ‘Auana, Hawai‘i’s one and only Cirque du Soleil show. Rooms are 324 sq. ft., suites are 413–1,200 sq. ft.
