Royal Kahana

This is a boomerang-shaped condo building, so the center oceanfront 2/2 units and the closer-to-ocean 1/1s have the best ocean views compared to the studios farther back in the building. All floors above the second are considered ocean view. Rooms are reasonably sized and the décor varies, but they could be cleaner and many could use updating. The wind can make an annoying sound as it howls through the closed window frames. They’re on skinny, Kahana Beach, which is mostly gone now. Studios (431 sq. ft.) are $345–$365, 1/1s (777 sq. ft.) are $395–$455, 2/2s (1,141–1,287 sq. ft.) are $538–$615. 2-night minimum.
